In 1983, Swedish journalist Peter Torbiörnsson hired René Pauck, a hairdresser by trade and amateur filmmaker, to travel to the Honduras–Nicaragua border and film the first images of the Contras, the clandestine army funded by the CIA in the aftermath of the Sandinista Revolution. Forty years later, Olympic Rifle imagines the lost diary of that shoot alongside those who made its images possible.
